Cars priced lower based solely on build date

is this a fair pricing model? If a car has all the same features , exact but different VIN number (which I assume is build date) does one deserve a $10 k discount versus the other? No other differences no mileage etc.

I am lined up for an inventory car and I see one is available but $10k cheaper... exact same, maybe slightly better because it includes the tow hitch.

Thoughts?

If they both have AP2.5 then not sure. Go with the cheaper one if they close to same build date. They’ll tell you build dates for each if you ask.

There’s probably a difference in there you aren’t seeing but if they are actually the exact same except tow hitch go with the cheap one and inspect at delivery

I didn’t mention one is down the street and the other is across the country.

I need delivery by end of year. It’s annoying though.
