Catalina white touch up paint looks light tan

I have a tube of Tesla PBCW (catalina white) touch up paint for my MY16 Model X. That year, they offered a "solid white" and pearl white. My invoice says solid white. Is that the same as the catalina white? When I try to touch up some chips, the touch up paint looks very off white, almost a light tan when compared to my original paint.

Look at the paint code listed on your car to make sure it matches with PBCW. The paint code is located on the vehicle identification sticker on the driver side door jamb. If you have a hard time finding it just Google 'Tesla paint code location'.

Yeah, the paint codes match, both PBCW, but when it's applied, it doesn't look as white. Maybe a bad tube of paint?
