CCS Combo 1 Adapter and DC Charging

Anyone else with a Plaid or refresh try the adapter? It doesn't work on my car.

Works on my May build MS LR refresh.

Fits my 2015 like a glove, but not sure if it will charge. App says the 2015 needs an upgrade for it to work, I'm tempted to try it anyway.

If VW-owned Electrify America tried just as hard to get CHAdeMO to high charging speeds and install an equal or more proportional # of CHAdeMO vs. CCS1 handles, then we might not be in this situation. But, VW got to decide how to spend $2 billion of their/our money (as part of dieselgate penance) and they were allowed to favor VW AG's business interests (e.g. VW, Porsche, Audi), shift the market a certain direction and screw a competitor.

Still with this conspiracy theory nonsense? EA didn't affect or cause or guide or influence any of this. I could name at least 5 other auto makers who were all using only CCS, and only one (Nissan) who used to use CHAdeMO, but had already given up on it too and is switching to CCS on their newer vehicles, leaving zero who are using CHAdeMO from now on. Electrify America didn't tell those auto companies what to use for their charging standards for their cars.

Just to throw some gasoline on this EV mud slinging conversation ... standard CHAdeMO protocol actually goes up to 400kw, and the high power version goes over a megawatt.

But the commonly deployed CHAdeMO speed in North America is 50kw. They're also ALL OVER JAPAN at 50kw.
