After a small delay waiting for parts, I had the CCS combo 2 upgrade installed by a Milton Keynes mobile service technician today.

He arrived 10 minutes ahead of schedule and beat his 1 hour estimate, completing the work in about 45 minutes! :)

(Now hurry up and complete Amesbury supercharger...)

That upgrade to CCS charging has to be the sale of the century compared to the cost of replacing a Zoe charge socket just because the poorly designed inner door has snapped off!

Yes, rework of charger electronics and includes the adaptor.

See CCS Combo 2 here:
Supercharging
(Don’t know why the page link didn’t work to go straight to the section)

There was a thread where someone mentioned the Tesla Owners Group (UK?) met with Tesla and argued for a price cut. I don’t know about that, but £280 is rather more palatable than £495 or whatever it was before.

Update: I got an "Output Fault #2418" error from my Zappi v2 after a few hours of charging.
Coincidence? We'll see...

Given that the V3 Supercharger sites are CCS only it makes sense that they would make the retrofit/adapter more reasonably priced.

£280 including the adapter is really good value - parts, an hours labour, vat etc etc. Will get this done asap once I get the car.

I suspect those Model S and Model X owners whom bought vehicles with "Unlimited Free Supercharging" may be feeling a little bit cheated...

Well, I'm more miffed that I missed MCU2 by about a month

I got free supercharging (and no, I don't hog - my time is more valuable than the free joules!) - but really don't want to be locked out of the, finally expanding, supercharger network.
