Recently had ccs upgrade done to a UK model S and when I went to do my first super charge on a road trip it didn’t work. This was on a Sunday evening.
After 90 mins on phone to service they identified that the service centre (Dartford) didn’t send through the software update needed to enable ccs.
i was stranded... managed to make it with 1 mile range to accommodations where I could trickle charge. Called Dartford, and all I got was an apology and no admission that they did anything wrong.
i thought a gesture of at least 1,000 miles free charge was appropriate, but I hit a brick wall.
should I escalate ? If so how ? It was nearly a really bad scenario.
