CCS1 Adapter to Tesla, Max Output while hanging = 50kWh.

Only used a couple times. Firmware updated to most recent software since 01/2022.

It works, just don’t need it since I was able to install a wall charger at home. Don’t really go on road trips as my car is used primarily for work and there are plenty of SuperChargers out in the wild and I get free charging at work.

These things take time to ship. It took almost 3-4 months till I got this. Ordered this in October and didn’t get it till December.

Depends.. they have tried but firmware updates keep it going. But there is some interesting engineering going on on a different thread that discusses that the Tesla adapter is just a physical passthrough and the signaling is handled on board by the Tesla with a small board. Thats how they block it. Older Teslas like my 2019 do not have this board which is why these adapters work because they have the signal adapters inside the handle. They took one of these and gutted it ( removed the MCU inside) and used it as a straight passrthough on a newer Tesla and it worked fine. With all the usual disclaimer

I think this would be a good deal for someone with a slightly older Tesla without the CCS support built in and doesn't want to wait the 3 months to get it
