Center Cap Removal Tool

After trying several different suction cup pullers, I finally found one that will consistently pull out the center cap. However, it will not pull out the silver center caps on S/X wheels.

thank you for this! Way easier to carry this in the car in case you want to swap the aero covers then a ball of duct tape.

I use a size zero flat head screwdriver. Slips between the rim and center cap and pops the cap off instantly.

Yea, that's what I did. No trouble at all it get it off and put it back on.

If you have a Garmin or similar windshield mount GPS, the suction cup on the mounting bracket will pull the center caps off both the model 3 and model S. The 3's caps have a slight crown and you have the set the suction cup tight and then pull the lever on the mount (as you would when putting it on a windshield). Pull the bracket and off the caps come.

I have tape, but no reason to waste it to remove caps

Doesn't the tool that came with the Tesla kit do the job?

The tool included with the kit is to remove the lg nut covers, although your fingers work a lot better than the included tool for that job.
