This question is about the $600 center console (not the new center console).
I had it fit with the Lightning connector. I would like to replace that lightning connector with a USB-C connector.

Is this possible to do? Any tips/info. TIA!

    Yes.
Unplug the cable from the USB connector.
    Remove the rubber mat.
Remove the two screws. Don't drop them.
Lift the plastic assembly with the connector out.
Remove two more screws from the plastic assembly and the connector can be removed.

The one that hides the screws that hold the plastic adapter holder in place.
