Superior Detailer - Central Florida (Orlando) Tesla Car Care/Paint Protection Specialists

Nearly all of our Tesla clients are currently seeking Protective Coatings and/or PPF (Clear Bra) together. Our Tesla clients are currently protecting their vehicles with Xpel or SunTek paint protection films applied to the vehicle’s most vulnerable (high impact) areas, which include the hood, fender, bumpers, and mirrors. We use Gtechniq’s line of protective coatings, exclusively, and for good reason. We’ve tested these coatings against several other popular coatings over the last 6 years, and it offers the best and hardest protection (with ease-of-maintenance for the owner) in Florida’s sub-tropical climates. We recommend Gtechniq Crystal Serum ceramic coating to stabilize the color and prevent surface scratches that can accumulate from improper washing and other environmental contaminates.

We have two certified Xpel PPF installers working in-house and we also apply the ceramic coatings on top of the PPF. The combination of Xpel Ultimate and Gtechniq’s Crystal Serum is the best paint protection for your Tesla’s premium paint. It’s not just about protecting the paint, our goal is also to keep the paint looking as beautiful as it does when it leaves our shop, for years to come.

Below is detailed information on our recommended standard process for Paint Correction, Protection, and PPF installation on all Tesla models, shown on a new blue Tesla Model S P90D (less than 500 miles on the clock).

Decontamination Wash - Decontaminating the paint is a must to ensure the cleanest surface for coatings and PPF application.

Iron and Fallout Deposit Removal Wash - Many new cars have iron deposits from rail dust exposure during transport to dealerships. We properly ensure all paint deposits are removed before the polishing process begins. We start by using deionized water and a decontamination wash, then we move on to clay barring the entire vehicle. Claying lifts any additional and heavier contaminants off the paint. This extremely crucial step is what will ultimately lead your paint to feeling glossy and silky smooth to the touch.

Machine Polish - New tesla’s usually have NIBS and wet-sanding marks that are present in a number of areas throughout the paint from wet-sanding after paint application in the factory. Inadequate wet-sanding often leaves undesirable traces of scratching or etching. We removed the imperfections on this Tesla with safe machine polishing.

PPF (or Clear Bra) Installation - After the surface is properly prepped, it is ready for PPF application. Here we applied Xpel Ultimate to the front bumper, mirrors, fenders, and ¼ hood. All of these are the high impact areas, most prone to debris damage from roads and highways. Xpel Ultimate will not only protect from rock chips, it will also protect the front end from those nasty love bugs we get here in Florida. The film’s non-stick formula also allows for easy removal of these bugs, simply wipe them off.

Wrapped Edges - We wrap our PPF edges as a standard practice on all vehicles.
