Centre Console heater not blowing any air to 2nd row

Hi, just picked up a new MX last weekend (great service from Heathrow new customer collection team, btw). Having gone over the entire car very carefully I've found a few minor issues which I'm sure can be fixed in the bodyshop and will get it booked in (mostly alignment of chrome and a couple of panels). The only significant issue I've found is that I can't get any air to blow from the vents in the centre console that face the second row (the console between the two front seats). I've got the front and rear heating turned on and am sitting in a rear seat. The front heaters are good and blow hot air quickly, the rear heaters are much less warm and are blowing air from the sides (both 2nd and 3rd row) (is this a "feature" or a fault?).

Any help with this would be appreciated.

In mine, rear heat comes from the sides and from below the seats from vents in the center console by passengers feet.
No heat comes from the rear center vents. Don't have a 3rd row, so can't comment on that.

One of my rear window side chrome panels did not fit correctly. I pushed them with the palm of my hand and heard a click. Now they fit perfect.
