Centre console removal

Has anyone taken out the centre console yet , buttons in my centre console have faded , and wondered if they could be changed or cleaned , thanks Andy

Not sure on your buttons, but removing the center console isn't too bad.

There are two hidden 6mm allen bolts in front that go into the bottom of the dash - you can see where they connect through in this pic. There's a cable connecter by the bolts that will need to be disconnected. Getting these bolts back in blind was the trickiest part

and a 3mm allen head under the seat heater / TC panel. That panel clips in the back. the 3mm allen head by the iPod cable needs to be removed first.

i know it's late now...but after i purchasing my roadster i had the XPEL clearbra placed on them. now no fading; easy to clean and you can't even see the film. something you might consider when you get your new buttons or a replacement.
