I plan to DIY an Xpel install, will do decontamination and paint correction myself as well if required. Will see how it goes, the way I look at it, I have 3-4 attempts before I reach cost parity to a pro install! I look for forward to the experience.

XPEL is a great product to work with -- easier than a few others.
It does take some patience and experience though. And the summer weather is perfect for working with the material.

If I get a full front PPF wrap, and a ceramic coating for the rest, will there be a difference in the finish (say 2 yrs later) when I can afford a full wrap?

If you look at the online packages most include a wash, decontamination and some level of paint correction in there base pricing. Extra work needed will cost more. The base price also normally includes base PPF. Again more if you upgrade.

Great video explaining the complete process.
Im on the wait list for Clearguard Nano film.

Ancillary to the PPF, I will perform my own pre-paint detaiing paint service.

Folks,

Talked to MobilePro detailing and they're willing to offer discounts up to 10% for less than 10 cars and 15% for more than 10.
Let me know if anyone's interested and I can proceed with further talks.

Were they able to provide a quote on how much the cost is?
E.g. for a full PPF XPel wrap, full ceramic coating (of at least 4 layers) etc.

Full Wrap with Xpel Ultimate - 4500+ tax
Only getting my rims coated for 150+ tax

Thanks for the info, appreciate it!

What would qualify to get a 10% discount (you mentioned less than 10 cars, meaning could anyone can go and get this discount?).
$450 is a nice discount for a full wrap. If the price is the same for ceramic coating as SRSTinting, then it might be $1500 for that (is this also 10% off?).

I found getdetailed.ca best priced. Will probably use them for tint. Still undecided on a wrap or ceramic. Considering plastidip instead to change the color to signature red if possible. I've seen a few websites that sell DIY kits like dipyourcar.com. At the very least will be DIY plastidipping my Aero rims with black to match the car body and change the spokes to a metallic silver to match the trim pieces. If anyone knows or recommends any dipping places that do autoflex or plastidip, let me know. Thanks.
