I have heard from an installer that ceramic tint on the glass roof should be avoided since the ceramic film holds heat when the car is still, and that he has heard second hand reports of the glass getting way too hot and cracking. No idea how true this is, I've read lot of people do the roof, but do they use ceramic and is this something others have heard? I read something on Tesla's forum that acknowledged heat issues with ceramic film on the glass roof.
Also, any issues with ceramic on the windshield, and does it (along with the windows of course) really help keep the car cooler when parked out in the sun?
