CHAdeMO adapter wait frustration

On wait list since 11/15/13 and got email and ordered today. Only about 1 year later than originally planned which isn't bad in Tesla time.

One other question, anyone know the dimensions of the adapter? Does it fit in the driver's side trunk spot where the UMC usually goes? It looks kinda big.

It does look pretty large. I'd be curious on this as well. I'd bet it needs to be stored in the lower trunk cubby.

The cable between the two connectors is surprisingly flexible. It's actually quite easy to stow it in all sort of spaces.

The Combo only charger are suposed to be MAX 25kW charger. Probably with the max AMP support, it would be less than a 20kW Dual Charger in a Tesla.

Their other 50kW charger will also have Chademo.

Source please, in reference to CCS maxing at 25kW?

Also, I haven't made it to the end of this thread yet, but if you surf over to Chademo.com it very clearly states that the max theoretical charging rate for Chademo is 50kW.

I got that exact e-mail a week ago. I responded by asking what # I was (rather than a timing estimate) and they gladly told me.
