I'm getting cold feet about my Performance Model 3. I know I want AWD but am just not sure about spending the extra $10k for the fun of performance and unlimited supercharging. I already have a VIN assigned and delivery offered for this weekend. I have been offered 3.6% APR from Tesla financing and wanted to look into credit unions but they all take at least a week for approval they say. My question is: can I just tell my Tesla representative to skip this car and assign a new VIN to me in the near future? This would give me more time to consider the pros and cons (wait for some reviews/comparisons of the hardware in the 3D vs P3D, which I suspect are identical) as well as to look into better financing options.
