Charge Amperage Dropping in the middle of the charge, 32 --> 16 Amp

Seems like the "round up" rule makes it easier for user mistakes to occur.

It may seem reasonable for the next larger breaker to be used on a circuit for which no exact size breaker is available.

But that does not actually increase the circuit's capacity, and depends on the user not to overload the circuit, since the breaker will not flip with a slight overload. While that may be ok for a hardwired device that will never exceed the circuit's capacity*, it seems like a bad idea for a circuit that something may be plugged into that could exceed the circuit's capacity.

*A Tesla Wall Connector on a 55A circuit with a 60A breaker would not qualify, since a user may see the 60A breaker and then set the Tesla Wall Connector to 48A that would require a 60A circuit.
