Charge every drive or just charge daily?

The truth is that every decision has trade offs, but the difference between charging every drive and every day is minuscule in terns of battery degradation. I charge daily and delay the start of the charge until the rates drop as low as they'll go. Don't drive yourself crazy with having to charge every chance you get.

The tiny impact on battery degradation will be more than made up by cheaper electricity if you have a time of use (TOU) electric rate. If you don't currently have such a plan, ask your power provider about rate options.

Now this begs the question. Since we know that deep discharges are bad for our batteries, what about any relevant information in comparing supercharging at 200A vs. on a 220 @ 40A?

the faster you charge, the harder it is for the management system to charge all the cells exactly the same simultaneously. In other words, faster charging leads to bigger imbalanced packs, with supercharging being the worst of them all. That was told to me by a Tesla regional manager.
