Charge port: 2015 P85 - should it auto close?

Hello all,
I have USA built P85 (2015) that was for the Japanese market. I can auto open the charge port flap no probs, but the only close option is to simply push it closed.

Does anyone know if this model ever or should support an auto close (or button to close) and it's just not working?

Or was this model/year not wired up to close through a function.

It's hard to keep track when Tesla doesn't provide a chronology of the change for the public.

If your flap has a magnet, it's a manual door.

If it doesn't have one, then it's an automatic closing door.
