Charge Port Indicator

Ref page 155 and 156 of the Owners manual:

Charge Port Light
  • WHITE: The charge port door is open. Model Y is ready to charge and the connector is not inserted, or the charge port latch is unlocked and the connector is ready to be removed.BLUE: Model Y detects that a connector has been plugged in.
  • BLINKING BLUE: Model Y is communicating with the connector. Either Model Y is preparing to charge, or a charging session is scheduled to begin at a specified future time.

  • BLINKING GREEN: Charging is in progress. As Model Y approaches a full charge, the frequency of the blinking slows.

  • SOLID GREEN: Charging is complete.

  • SOLID AMBER: The connector is not fully plugged in. Realign the connector to the charge port and insert fully.

  • BLINKING AMBER: Model Y is charging at a reduced current (AC charging only)

  • RED: A fault is detected and charging has stopped. Check the touchscreen for a fault message.
I have NEVER seen the Tesla logo illuminate WHITE. Every time I open the charge port the Tesla T glows BLUE, I plug in the connector and it then turns GREEN and flashes until it's done then it's a steady GREEN. I even went out to my garage after dark and even put a towel over my head and it's BLUE. I have had several neighbors confirm it's BLUE. Never WHITE.

Was this some change Tesla made and the Owners Manual is outdated or is there something wrong with my 4 day old MY?

Thanks in advance.

Mine is blue too. Just a Tesla info glitch, all works fine.
Update: I just plugged in for the night and paid closer attention. The color after opening the port door is a light blue, but not white. After plugging in the connector (I have the Gen-3 HPWC), the light changes to a deeper blue prior to starting charging.

So then mine is not operating correctly. It charges fine but as I said I'm presented with the BLUE indicator. I'll mention this at my upcoming post-delivery SC visit. Odd
