With the latest price hike ($55,990), the Model 3 LR no longer qualifies for any potential NJ rebate barring a change in MSRP cap.

yup and the Model 3 SR will only get $2k rebate instead of the $5k most got last year when the car was under $45k

Last year at this time many were discussing the plan to wait for a NJ rebate.
Since then, MY price has gone up 20% and lead time from nine weeks to nine months.
Never wait for the government.

and sometimes you do win. I didn't wait in 2020 but ordered and hoped. They came back with more money and I got a 5K rebate. If I had waited, it would have been anywhere from none to 2K

For those that are wondering, the date is based on when you ordered NOT when you take delivery. I ordered last year in August, I didn't take delivery until February of this year, still got full 5k instant rebate. GREAT DEAL for a 2022 model 3 for 36k after rebate. Now just need to run the car to the ground.

You must own the vehicle for 3 years minimum and remain an NJ resident for 2 years minimum according to the terms and conditions on the charge up NJ website.

Yes, details have yet to be released. New fiscal year starts July 1st, so more details should be provided around that time.

Looks like NJBPPU has a proposal for 2023 fiscal year already with the following incentives:
1. <$45K - $4000 rebate
2. $45K-$55K - $2000 rebate

Based on the draft document, people who ordered the car before the start of the program are ineligible for a rebate. It seems you can still make comments for this program and hopefully it will change to "purchase only".

Buyers still get great sales tax savings in NJ, but if you‘re interested in Tesla the rebate is not for you anymore, unfortunately.

Finally, launch of the charger incentive is a welcome addition to the rebate program. $250 per address makes the Tesla Wall Connector $150 all-in less install cost. Cheaper than the mobile adapter.

If the data collection requirements are the same as the pseg program the Tesla chargers might not be eligible for the rebate.

I am applying for $250 EVSE rebate and the application only has Loop EV-Flex and EV Flex Lite on the list.

I have ChargePoint Home Flex installed so hopefully they add more chargers to the list.

i installed the chargepoint in February. looks like i am also not eligible... its effective from 7/25/22..
