Charged Past Limit

I have my charge limit set to 80% and it’s never gone past that. But this morning I got into the car to see it had gone to 82% even though I got a notification to say it finished at 80%.

Not worried about it. Just interested if anyone else has ever come across this?

Yep. App is net/usable energy which fluctuates with temperature and probably other factors as it can vary disproportionally to temperature - might just be effect of thermal mass though. When it gets significant you will see the snow flake.

Something like TeslaFi will show both net/usable and gross, but set charge limit uses gross, so isn't affected by battery usable capacity fluctuations. Much easier to add a fixed % charge if using gross as you do not have to compensate for usable energy fluctuations.

In the app, when usable is less than gross, you will find that you cannot set charge limit to 100%.
