Nice! I wonder how long it will be before it's operational? I would have preferred that it was somewhere like Perth, but at least they're installing them (and the more the better)!

I'm told Moe opened a few days ago, 2 fast chargers and 2 Ultra fast chargers, nice shady area not far off the Princes Freeway.
Public toilets about 5m away
Gippsland Heritage park and café about 50m away
24 hour McD's about 100m away.

It’s likely an “it’s an accommodation, not a reservation” situation.

Yeah, I should have added an /s to that post.
I wouldn't stop there, all it takes is one disabled permit holder to get upset they can't use that spot and your up for a $150 fine.

edit: The photo at the top of the page from Tasmania shows one of those spots was a permit one too, I wonder if it will be done the same?

No sign of life at Cooma yet. Just sitting there waiting for a switch to be thrown, or more probably some bureaucratic process to be finalised. This location will be easier than the Supercharger if you are towing, the Coles carpark is a nightmare with a trailer. Just have to get the CCS adapter kit installed.

Anyone know if it is possible to start a chargefox charger if you already have more than 80% stwte of charge i. E. If the charger gets interupted or vandalized while you are i. E. 89%

It is yes. You can charge to 100% if you like. It simply defaults to 80% on the ionity chargers.

No because when you initially start charging the default setting is 80 so the charger immediately aborts EVEN when you immediately press the 100% button after it starts!

oh sorry I understand now...never had that happen. Can you not select 100% instead of 80% before you plug it in?

What about via the Chargefox app? This seems like a major operability mistake in the charger design if there's no way around it.
