December 6, 2021. No. Does that make a difference?

Yes, it does make a difference. The smaller charge door means most of the locks out there don't fit. You have to use ones specific to Model S.

It's more expensive than others because it is resin 3d printed and is much more durable.

I had some issues with the lock, but if you snap it in the correct way it works perfectly.

I can tell you that the one above that Pengy mentioned will work with a MS that was manufactured late last year.
