I changed my NEMA 14-50 to a sub panel because I’m adding a spa (it was already wired with 4 gauge). I got a Talon panel which was great because it has a NEMA 14-50 already wired to a 50 amp breaker. I threw in a GFCI 50 for the spa. Now my problem is the Tesla plug is so long the panel cover doesn’t close all the way. Any solution?

Hard to tell from the pic, but is the NEMA adapter for the mobile connector a Tesla brand adapter?
I'm guessing that is a Gen1 UMC, and that makes the adapter/plug combination tall. The Gen2 UMC would work better in this situation.
Yes, it is Gen1. I will look into the Gen2 specs. Might be worth an upgrade if it fits.
edit: yes this would definitely work. Now to try to find a decent deal on the Gen2!

You can get a new enclosure that allows you to close the lid. Common with RV cables that have the finger holes to pull them out. Here is an option and there is a pic on item page that explains this too:
