I’m awaiting my MYP delivery and am trying to read up on charging. I have the wall connector installed already. From what I gather it is best to always plug the car in and just set it to only charge to around 70%. Here is my question. I work in healthcare and take call with a 30 minute response time. So at times I am rushing to leave. Is there a prompt to that pops up if the charger is connected and you try to drive? I could totally see getting called at 0200 and rushing out and forgetting to unplug them ripping the cable out.

Rest assured, you cannot shift out of Park with any charging cable plugged in (Tesla, J1772, or supercharger). The car won't let you.
