Charging Gen 1 Tesla S through L6-30 220 Volt 30 Amp plug

I have a L6-30 220 volt plug, normally used for the pool pump (running the cleaning robot). I am not using this outlet anymore so I am trying to find an adapter so I can use to charge my Tesla S60, 2015 model, which is apparently classified as Gen 1 (Gen 2 is from 2017, right?). There is an adapter from L6-30 but only for Gen 2 Tesla’s. Does anyone have an idea how to make this work?

When I first got my S in 2013, Tesla had yet to come out with various adapters for the UMC, other than 14-50 and 120V. I made my own adapter to charge on my Mom's dryer outlet. I bought a 14-50 outlet and dryer plug - the kind that already wired that you connect to the back of your dryer. I plug the UMC 14-50 into this, making sure I dial charge current down to 24A since the car "sees" a 14-50 outlet. I did a fair amount of online research, including a thread on the Tesla Motors forums, to make sure I didn't burn up my car or my Mom's house. I still use it occasionally.

That looks like a L6-20, not L6-30, based on the plug markings. If so, convert it to a regular non twist-lock 6-20 with this and then buy the 6-20 adapter for your mobile connector.

Thank you for great suggestion. Could it be that the female plug is an l6-30 and the male plug from the existing pool cleaner is l6-20? Anyway, 220 volt and 20 Amp is plenty as my older 2015 S is only charging up to 180 miles anyway (about 80%) and it’s never super empty, it’s fast enough to top it off at night. Here on Long Island, NY the utility company PSEG is offering $0.07 per kWh between 11 pm and 6 am, compared to $0.22 daytime rate. I will try this solution and report back on this thread how it works.
