So sorry guys. I'm new Tesla owner Model X. Maybe it has been posted before but can anyone tell me if it is possible to create home charging with the cable directly connected to high voltage power supply (in Dutch it would be "krachtstroom") 380/400 V? So it would be on one end the type 2 outlet and the other end directly connected to the fuse box/breakers/power box (in Dutch "meterkast"). Thanks for helping me out on this one.
Thanks Nico. I knew that I can use the connector/adapter. But can I charge with connecting directly without the connector. Or does the connector has a function like monitoring constant level of power flow or converting from AC to DC. So it would be a direct connection without any connector or adapter. Or the adapter is essential to charge properly. Thanks
Hi Not possible to connect a type 2 cable directly to the grid. The external charger (next to the one in your car) performs several tasks on its own.
Hmmm... I would rather consider buying a Tesla charger (wallconector) and if necessary connect that with a 3 phase (krachtstroom) cable. If needed with a red pkug in-between.
