Charging Notifications Sporadic?

Anyone else find that sometimes charging notifications appear and sometimes they do not? My car is charging now, but there was no notification sent when it started charging. I've checked:

* In the Tesla app > tap the user icon/circle in the upper right > pick the car > Settings > Notifications.
* Android Settings app > Notifications > App Settings > Tesla.
* Android Settings app > Notifications > Do Not Disturb. Ensure that DND is off or else it allows notifications to at least appear in the notification bar.

and I've looked at notification history.

Make sure your tesla app is not battery optimized, that it can run and use data in the background, that sort of thing. On my previous phone I've had some notifications (start charging at home) only appear when I unlocked my phone to look at something else. Clearly notifications are on but the app wasn't able to send them in a timely manner.

I have the same issue on IOS. Notifications are hit and miss.

I went through one update where the charging notifications were sporadic. The next update resolved this and notifications are consistent again. iPhone 12 and 2022.28.2.

Same here, sometimes I get notifications and other times I don’t.
Strange thing is on the app settings, they randomly toggle off for charging notifications??
