Charging port party. Open and close 24/7 over and over.

Hello guys,

My car is gone for couple of weeks for heating system repair. They gave me a 2015 model S until I get it back.

Charging port was acting up but today when I'm not driving and the car isn't plugged the charge port open and close over and over... tirelessly.

Anyone ever had this issue? I'd like to stop this before going back to office tomorrow and have car go party mode all day.

Probably won’t help, but did you try a reboot?

Unfortunately yes, party still going strong.

Oh, one other thing to try.

There is button that the door hits so you can tap the door to open it. If that is adjusted way out it might get hit when the door closes. Try screwing it in.

On my X it was to far in and tapping the door worth not work. So I adjusted out.
