Charging price increase

@Lightbulb, the laws that exist are that only utility companies are able to bill customers by the kWh. Where these laws exist, Tesla charges by the minute. Everywhere else, Tesla bills by their preferred unit, the kWh. The logic on those laws is that only utility companies are required to use “utility grade metering” to be precise on reading how much energy the consumer actually used. This is kind of like how gas pumps have to be tested on a regular basis for measurement precision on how much gasoline is being dispensed.

Yeah I realize now that the price increase is due to Tesla rolling out this tiered system before Measurements Canada has sorted out a kwh billing method. Tesla should seriously be rolling back this pricing method here until this is sorted out. Paying $25 for a charge that used to cost me $11-13. Was pricing out a road trip out east and it was going to cost Damn near the same as a new decently efficient gas car. Just silly
