Charging speed reduced 28 to 16 mi/hr , ideas ?

My charge speed at home has gone from 28 mi/hr down to 16 mi/hr. App indicates 17/32 A. I don't know when this drop actually happened and have made no changes to my home electrical system. I have a NEMA 14-50 on a 50 Amp circuit. Is it possible the plug has some increased resistance causing higher temps and the car adjusting lower charge rate ?

Any ideas , or things to de-bug ?

Can you go to your car and manually increase from 17/32A to 32/32A?
