My Chinese is not great but I think the Chinese Model S specs page still says will come with J1772 adaptor?

The HK Tesla webpage will be updated soon to reflect the newly revised Hong Kong Model S charging strategy. The Model S is capable for 3-phase charging but Tesla does not have a 3-phase EVSE available yet as it is still under regulatory approval, I am told. Since we have 3-phase feed going to our property, I have revised my order to include twin charger to take advantage of 3-phase charging should Tesla releases their 3-phase EVSE.

Very cool. I believe this 3-phase HPWC would be of interest to EU as well. It will help Tesla homogenize all of the different plugs/adapters into a standard Tesla connector, which is definitely a big deal in EU.

Just got following good news:
The HK government has about 500 13A BS1363 charging sockets installed in their carparks. They will upgrade around 100 of these to 32A 220V 1-phase. They opted for 1-phase as several of their buildings are quite old and can't support 32A 380V 3-phase.
32A 220V 1-phase should give a range of around 30km/hr charge.

How is this going to matter for charging our Tesla model S cars - will we be able to use the full potential of the 32A?

These are the 100 medium power stations promised by the CE in his policy address earlier this year. See here for details.

I hear that the upgrades will be a mix of government and CLP/HKE. The first have gone in to IFC recently.
