Just stopped by the tesla supercharging station in Barstow. I wanted to see the location of where I would charge my car in the future. Surprisingly there were 2 cars charging while I was there. I can't wait to get my car. I go to Vegas quite often and would like to take the tesla out there. Those that make the drive from LA to Vegas please chime in on what you guys do while in Vegas? Are there any free charging stations around the Vegas strip or hotels?

Found out the answer to my question online while driving to Vegas. Don't worry my wife was driving. They have tesla hpc charging stations in Cosmo and Venetian hotels

I'm betting those are Roadster connectors.

    I think you'll want NEMA 14-50 or J1772 for a Model S.

I think you're right, Jason regarding the type of connectors.

htsai, if you don't have a Roadster HPC -> Model S adapter with you, then you'll need to find the type Jason recommends.
