Charging will start…momentarily

Plug into a supercharger, and it seems to take forever (well 30 seconds) before charging starts. The display just tells me it's getting ready to charge. At home, it starts in perhaps 5-10 seconds. And, maybe I'm imagining things, seems like for the past year it didn't take so long for the supercharger to begin.

Just my imagination, or is there an issue with the car I should check with the service center? It always starts charging eventually, but I hope I'm not seeing a slow degradation.

I think we've had faster than 30 seconds most of the time, but we've had a few take about that or longer. We like to see it start before heading off to eat or whatever, so the delay can become noticeable. We've Supercharged about 40 times, but mostly at different locations on road trips, so I can't say if the delay is random or location based.
