So, we had to know how this works... This is only available during business hours - they lock the gates after hours.
The service doors on the right side of the building, have 3" or 4" holes that they feed the cable through. When we tested it there were 2 doors with cables fed through (more doors had the holes).
Image below will probably explain it better.
Still a good option to have :)

They actually have two superchargers. I was told that they are only for the cars that are being serviced but I imagine that if you were in a bind they would let you use them.

That is correct. The Supercharger(s) have been for the Service Team since the Charlotte location opened. However, they have always helped obliged and connected cars during business hours to help you get by (assuming the Service Bay wasn't locked off for various reason and thus, they couldn't feed the cord through). They have always been more than willing to let me plug in when I was in a bind.
