CAA Plus gives you 200km of towing and CAA Premier gives you 320 km once and 200 km 4x (or something like that).
I had an issue last year where I needed to tow my daughter's car from Hunstville back to Toronto and I only had CAA Basic. I called CAA, I upgraded on the phone, and they had the tow truck there within about 45 minutes (which is pretty good considering the location).
Years ago I used BCAA. I went to Canadian Tire’s for a couple of years.
Last year I went back to BCAA. The cost savings on auto insurance and house insurance more than paid for the membership fee.
Today I learned that I could get “PSP” pricing at The Source by signing up through BCAA. I saved another $30 on AirPods.
I drive 40,000 to 50,000 km a year. I keep my vehicles in good repair and have used roadside assistance only once in the past 15 years, so I want my roadside assistance package to give me more than roadside assistance
You don't have to be towed to a Canadian Tire location. OP's original question was which roadside assistance was the cheapest to get him to his nearest Tesla Service centre - 244km away. CT Roadside assistance on the WE MC covers up to 250km.
