So I've had my brand new custom-ordered Model S since December 16 now. Somehow my car came without all the squeaks and rattles that so many others talk about on this forum with such affection, not to mention any of the other problems, either (e.g. panel gaps, glass-roof gaps, crooked trim, paint problems, etc). What's up with that? Where was QC? For a car costing this much, I'm surprised it is missing something so basic that comes free with most other cars, sometimes for half the price. Should I call my service center to find out if my car has been recalled for omission of these items? Can they be added by the service center after delivery?
Maybe there is an add-on for this. Bradda Ed with Ukulele Miniature Dashboard Hula Doll | AlohaOutlet perhaps?
Congrats on your new ride!! I've taken delivery of 5 cars over the years and none of them did have any, but careful what you wish for, they might creep up! Don't fret, the local SC did their handy work in every case and resolved them without a hitch.
