YouTube - The Chevy Volt Dance
Can't wait to see the Tesla Trio do a song and dance about our car. Just can't wait.... not.
When processing how horrifying that video is, consider these behind-the-scenes facts:
1) Some marketing or PR person hired and paid someone to write that ear-bleeding song.
2) That same marketing or PR person also hired and paid someone to perform said ear-bleeding song.
3) Our intrepid Chevy marketing/PR rep paid someone to choreograph a dance to the aforementioned song.
4) Once again from the mind of head-scratching marketing/PR, they actually hired professional dancers to perform the Volt dance.
Wow... I'm not sure whether to laugh at the stunt or feel sorry for the performers.
And no doubt some management signed it off...
You wonder why they went bankrupt. I'm sure they are sitting there thinking that in this new touchy-feely eco world, that is the kind of thing we like

So the song was originally written for kids age 7-12. Now it makes perfect sense.
The question is, who was the nitwit in GM's marketing department that decided a kids song would be suitable for adults?
