Disclaimer: I don't live in Chicago, or know anyone working at the Field Museum, but I am a fan of the YouTube show "The Brain Scoop", and I thought this was a worthy fundraiser.

Summary: 1 space out of 20 diorama spaces in the Asian Hall of Mammals was never completed due to budgetary problems during the Great Depression. A group of taxidermy'd striped hyenas somehow ended up miscatogorized and displayed in the Hall of Reptiles. The Field Museum would like to raise approximately 170,000 $US to renovate the diorama space for display and preservation of the hyenas.

Full details, funny information video, and Q&A: I got my income tax refund recently so I donated a couple bucks. There are 10 days left in their campaign!
