Chicago - North Broadway Charger: How do I get in?

Visiting a friend who lives in Wrigleyville. Looks like the nearest charger is the one at 3030 North Broadway, which looks to be in a parking garage.

How do I get into the parking garage, or must I pay a parking fee to charge?

Apparently sometimes the “info” about the supercharger (prices, etc.) on the map also shows a code to get in. If not, you may need to pay.

Some parking garages with superchargers seem somewhat hostile to having people charge there (charging extra for short-term parking, using SC areas for security ICE vehicles or customer overflow parking, not letting you in to charge if the non-charging spots in the garage are full, etc.), which is unfortunate.

What's unfortunate is that Tesla ever thought putting Superchargers in a paid parking garage was a good idea. Especially in areas where it's still the only Supercharger within hundreds of miles. I know it's "only a few bucks" but it's the principal.

I think I found a charger, not much further out, at a Target parking garage. Gonna guess the garage for Target is free.

Sorry for the late reply: these are city chargers located on the second level of Mariano's. Ascend the ramp, follow the parking lot to the left, you'll see the stalls.

This is a free parking lot, no gate.

Dre78 is correct. I've used this charger several times in the past month. No parking fee or entry code. Take the elevator down to grab a snack or use the bathroom at Mariano's.

You probably know this by now, but for future users: yes, the Target parking garage off 90/94 and Western/Logan, parking is free. On the right side when you pull in.
