Not entirely. Here's the code per the Illinois tax law website. With me living in Hoffman Estates, I believe I would pay the 7% sales tax for DuPage as that's where the release of merchandise happens. There's a special rule in place for those who live in the city of Chicago picking up in outlying areas (8.25%). If it's based on where I live, it's only a quarter point higher as Hoffman is 7.25% on Vehicles vs the 7.0% in Westmont.

He made it seem like he would be coordinating the entire delivery, he basically made sure all the account information was filled out and since we are paying cash he said "it will be easier process". He just told me the payment portal opens 2 days before delivery (I just checked now and its already open).

Thanks! Actually transferred the reservation to my dad since I live in a condo building and the charger installation was an insane amount. Hopefully my dad will give sell it back to me whenever I move to the suburbs, ha!

Just as an FYI, the transfer process was quick. The advisor transferred it after I got off the phone with him.
