Not entirely. Here's the code per the Illinois tax law website. With me living in Hoffman Estates, I believe I would pay the 7% sales tax for DuPage as that's where the release of merchandise happens. There's a special rule in place for those who live in the city of Chicago picking up in outlying areas (8.25%). If it's based on where I live, it's only a quarter point higher as Hoffman is 7.25% on Vehicles vs the 7.0% in Westmont.
