I doubt it. Tesla has it leased for another 8.5 years, so why would a car company want it?

According to the original press release details, the facility had been extensively modified from Office to factory/showroom. That's a lot of work and creates something fairly specific in nature.

I actually got a smoking deal on an industrial building because somebody converted half of it into temperature controlled lab quality offices with a high ceiling. A normal buyer would have to tear out the $350,000 worth of improvements to the building, but it was PERFECT for my needs. I paid so little for the building that my insurance company would only insure it for double what I paid for it. ie - they appraised it at double my purchase price.

Something to consider when selling a building. Try to hunt for a buyer who needs exactly what you have. If you can't find one, bite the bullet and remove the upgrades. Thankfully mine was owned by a bank who oddly was not aware of this.
