Christmas time in Hollywood

Planning to take the kids to Hollywood around Christmas time. Most likely staying near the Chinese Theater in the heart of Hollywood. We're from NorCal but never been to Hollywood, always San Diego.

What will the weather be like, lots of tourists? Where will I be charging my Model S?
