The chrome cover on my driver side fender camera came loose. Glue melted in hot weather this summer - and/or there was insufficient glue in the first place. I used some 3M Emblem and Decal adhesive (from O'Reily) to fix.
1. Use Blue Masking Tape to mask off area above camera housing to prevent glue spill
2. Wipe Clean black plastic housing where you will apply glue with q-tip / rubbing alcohol
3. I used wooden Starbucks stir stick to apply small amount of the glue across the top/inside of the black plastic housing the chrome cover is meant to attach to.
4. Have microfiber cloth ready to wipe any spills (be careful)
5. Press chrome cover back onto glue and hold there for at least 5 mins
6. Use blue masking tape to hold cover down - and leave glue to set for at least 2 hrs.
Seems to work .. easier than a trip to the service center ....
