Really like the idea of doing a "chrome delete" on my Red Model 3. Door handles, window trim, rear view mirror trim. I have seen some vehicle wraps up close, and once you get within a few feet they look horrible. It could be that it was just a bad wrap, but once I saw one of these I vowed to never put a wrap on my 3 as much as I wanted it to be Signature Red. It could be chrome deletes look better, not sure.
The Model Y loses the chrome and goes with matte black for the areas I mentioned. Does anyone know if it is possible to get the Model 3 chrome parts replaced with the matte black ones? Door handles and rear view mirrors are likely the same size, not sure about the window trim. Ideally it would just be a matter of ordering the required parts and getting someone to do the install, assuming all the parts are the same size.
