Chrome Delete Project: Materials Sourcing & General Questions

Hi All!

So I decided to take this project upon myself as it sounds very doable (Model 3):

Amazon.com has everything but unfortunately par usual their Canadian storage hubs don't.

For the Window Trim I wanted to get 50foot of 2inch 1080 Satin Black tape from 3M like this one:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B...&linkId=feb29097de2c1c9b311bb7ec3b53da4c&th=1

For the mirrors I'm gonna get this, which seems easily available here in Ontario:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008OIQEG4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_ep_dp_N08oBbG619BJX

Questions:
1. Any suggestions for where to get the 2inch tape?
2. As well, what tools have you guys been using? (Squeegee, Felt pads etc)
3. I'm not planning to remove the mirrors as I've seen pretty decent results without all of this additional work.
Does anybody have a good template for the side-mirror base?

If you are interested in satin black, I have enough for 2 cars left. I bought a 5x8' piece. You actually only need 1.5" wide strips. I can cut you a couple of 1.5" or 2" wide strips for the top arch, doors and cut you like a 1x5' piece for the back window and mirrors. Door handles can be wrapped with the scrap. PM me if interested and I can ship it to you. Prefer not to meet up at this time.

A squeegee is helpful but I found something like this the most useful as it helps the rubber seal is very tight in some spots and this just gets it open enough to tuck it in.

For the mirror, I didn't remove the mirror entirely. I did pop off the movable part of the mirror from the base. You don't need a template. I used knifeless tape along the contours of the mirror to cut the wrap. I shot a video of it and will upload it in a few days.

Do you have the video available yet? I want to do this to my S...

There are pros and cons to buying a pre-cut kit.

For me, doing it this way, I didn't have to spend time aligning up all the pieces. My savings isn't that much because the first time, I bought a roll of 2" vinyl and a 1x5' piece. But if you find 2 other people, you can wrap 3 cars for $150 or so including a practice side for each car.
