    Perfectly superficial question for you.
Regardless of the color of the car, which finish of the window trim and door handle you would like?

    Example:
    Chrome
    model-3-red1.jpg
    Black

Neither! trim color = body color.

Not the best examples considering that first photo of the red alpha posted above has gunmetal grey trim as opposed to the true chrome we're seeing now on all the release candidates. Regardless, I'll definitely be wrapping my trim in satin black the first week of ownership, unless we get super lucky and get that option from the factory :)

Elon, I'll happily buy the "Black Optics Pack" if you decide to make it a factory option.

I guess I'm showing my age. I have always loved chrome on cars. Rebuilt a 1969 Triumph TR6 and loved polishing all that beautiful chrome! Take me back to the 30's when there was SERIOUS chrome work!

Hate chrome. I have blacked it out on every car I have owned. I even used to paint it by hand. I don't need any more sources of blinding reflections.

    Thank you kindly.

I'm getting white paint with dark wheels so black trim would look fine. Only thing is most low end cars these days come with black trim so I might probably go for chrome.

I am with you @Jayc. White car with black wheels, windows (tinted), and black trim.

No one is going to mistake a Model 3 for a "low end car"

    Thank you kindly.

If I chose a black Model 3 I'd probably do something like this

Maybe not "low end" but lower end
most will look at it as a 35k tesla entry level car. right or wrong that will be the perception until a P version comes around.

There is a black model S around here with a license plate variation of "BATMBLE"... So your Black model 3 with Batman trim could double as a "BATtery Mobile".
