I am in Canada and my auto insurer is Chubb. I have a Model X p90dl. The lowest deductible I can get is 5 thousand. My broker says it's due to the high list price of the car. No accidents.

If I remember correctly tesla was experimenting on insurance products for tesla owners but in limited countries. Makes a lot of sense since you can design car to make it cheaper to repair and decreased medical costs

    I love high deductibles.

To take it one step further, I self-insure my present cars, a Honda Fit and a Toyota Prius. Call them $10k deductibles ;-)
I pay $400 a year total for uninsured motorist and $1M liability for the two cars.

I more or less agree with this.

On an unrelated note, Alliant actually limits your deductible.
