Starting to make more matte/satin white 3's lately! Here’s another project we just completed with Satin Guard ppf, lowering springs, chrome delete, and 21” Vorsteiner VFF-109 wheels. The satin effect is really subtle on the white which is nice, especially for a car that’s driven daily. It’s unique enough to make you think there’s something special about that paint without being over the top.

Here's a quick look at how ceramic coating works on your paint with a water beading test. If coated properly, water should bead up, and slide off your paint a lot more effortlessly, keeping it cleaner longer. Never gets old seeing it in action.

This isn't a 3, but I believe it's important to show one of the many types of damages clearbra (ppf) can take so you know what you're getting. Here's a S that scuffed its mirror on something. We remove the film to inspect what damage is left underneath.

Several projects going on in this vlog, but I wanted to highlight a clip on a 3 we did, with clearbra & Photosync 70 for anyone interested. If you’re taking delivery of your new Tesla, highly recommend getting a clearbra to keep your paint looking new for as long as possible.

~1:14 mark for Model 3 clearbra/tint walkaround

*Disregard the thumbnail, the vlog consisted of other projects as well!*

There's been a rise of interest in Teslas wanting matte/satin color changes to their cars, so here's a quick vid of a white 3 with Satin Guard, which turns the factory white, into this beautiful satin translucent finish. Topped off with a chrome delete and Vorsteiner wheels for a unique look.

How durable is clearbra? In this new vlog, we replace the clearbra on the doors of a X that got damaged from the garage door, and you’ll see what damage went through and what got absorbed. We also chrome delete another 3, making it look very stormtrooper-ish.

“Can clearbra (ppf) really protect my paint from damage?” Here’s a quick clip of us unwrapping the doors off a X that got damaged from hitting the garage. We peel back the clearbra to see how much of the paint was actually effected by the hit. Protecting against daily mishaps is one of the main reasons why some owners wrap the whole car.

There’s a ton of Midnight Silver Teslas, but this one is 1 of a kind ;)

Turned this Model S’ paint into a satin/matte/translucent version by wrapping it with Satin Guard. Not only will it protect against rock chips/scratches, but it transforms any car paint into a beautiful satin finish. Perfect way to change up the color of the car while still showcasing the original color while protecting it too.

~2:20 mark for walkaround

Water beading without ceramic coating or wax?
Check out this water beading test on a Tesla Model Y's clearbra after we wrapped it. This film has a built in hydrophobic top layer, so water sheets off making it easier to clean and stay clean.

Hey new Y owners, if you want to keep your paint looking new for as long as possible, consider getting a clearbra (ppf).

Quick Clearbra 101, it’s a clear film that gets wrapped over your paint and protects it from rocks and scratches. Can last for years and if you ever remove it, your paint is in the same condition underneath as the day you wrapped it.

You can do as many panels as you want—the front of the car, the whole car, or whatever you’d like. Here’s a clip of a Y that got the full front end done (the front gets hit the most with rock chips via driving), and the best part is since the wrap is virtually invisible since it’s so clear, you don’t notice it.

Quick tip for S owners looking to get a clearbra/ppf…

Maximize what your clearbra can do for you by seeing if which ever brand you go with offers any unique advantages other than the standard rock chip/scratch protection and “self-healing”. Here’s one that has a hydrophobic layer on top, so water beads off of your car—making it easier to clean and stay clean.

Tesla Model S owners looking to keep their cars cleaner and easier, check this out...

We just finished up this S with a full car clearbra/ppf, Photosync window tint, and a ceramic coating. The clearbra protects the paint from scratches and rock chips so you preserve it, while the ceramic coating makes washing and staying clean, a lot easier. Water slides off of it like nothing, and you'll always get that "just waxed" shine after every wash, despite not waxing it.

Check out the water beading test on the paint at the end:
