    Hey

I don't know if this is new or what but my car is doing a clicking noise right now while parked. Every 2 minutes. I already heard that noise before but not every 2 minutes and this is starting to be anoying. Like I will need to close my room windows anoying.

it's sound like 2 click and 1 second pause then a 3rd one.

    Any idea?

I've noticed this exact behavior since 21.9. Actually, mine doesn't do it all the time, but I can consistently reproduce it by doing a hard reboot. When it comes back, it will do a series of clicks, exactly every 120 seconds.

The clicks are the contactors connecting and disconnecting the HVB. With a parked car it typically happens when it is time to start or stop charging the 12 volt battery. It also happens when the car detects the fob approaching the car. When parked is the fob stored far away from the car?

In the case we are describing, I'm very hesitant to believe it is the HVB contactors. The clicking is distinctly quieter than the main HVB contacts engaging / disengaging. It is a pattern of clicks. And, it is exactly every 120 seconds. I sat in the car for 30 minutes, timing it with a stopwatch. The sequence occurred at exactly every 120 seconds. I can force this to occur by sitting in the car and doing a hard reboot (Power Off button from the MCU).
